Public Television Program Information – “Happy Together: Going Out Well” (A Program on Disability)
Happy Together: Going Out Well is a program about people with disabilities.
Going out may be part of everyday life for many people, but for some, it can be a significant challenge.
Through a documentary-style perspective, the program closely follows the daily lives of individuals who use wheelchairs, as well as those with visual impairments, hearing impairments, autism, and mental health conditions. From waking up and getting dressed to stepping outside their homes, the program records how they navigate physical limitations and environmental barriers, rediscovering the possibility of mobility and independence. This is not only a story about disability, but also about the courage that anyone may need in everyday life.
This season will also broadcast a contextual subtitle version to enable viewers with hearing impairments to watch the program simultaneously.
The program will air every Saturday at 4:00 PM from February 7 to April 18.
Due to content rating considerations, the final episode will be broadcast on Sunday, April 26 at 11:00 PM.
Public Television Service (PTS) has long been committed to issues related to people with disabilities.
