Orientation
Before the start of each new academic year, DSS holds an orientation event and a parent information session for new students. In addition to introducing the services and resources provided by the resource classroom to both students and their parents, the event also includes experiential learning and orientation training activities to enhance the campus life and learning adaptability of new students in special education at NTU.

Career Workshop
DSS organizes career workshops with different themes each year, such as vocational rehabilitation, job redesign introduction, aptitude test administration and interpretation, résumé and autobiography preparation, key interview skills, as well as preparations for national exams and government-funded overseas studies. These activities are conducted through lectures, board games, or group sessions to help students understand career concepts, explore their own career visions, and guide them to discover their career values and capabilities. This enables students to plan and integrate their personal career blueprint, and to identify clear directions for current preparation and development.

Physical Activity For Disabled Students
Each semester, DSS organize aquatic activity courses to encourage students with disabilities in engaging in activities that promote physical and mental well-being. These activities also serve as rehabilitation for students with physical impairments, helping to strengthen their physical functions.

Team building activities for students with disabilities
We encourages students to learn and develop interpersonal skills. This activity enable students with different types of disabilities to support one another, foster mutual respect, and enhance their sense of self-worth and ability to adapt to group living.

Individualized Support Plan
n accordance with the Ministry of Education's Special Education Act, the resource classroom develops an Individualized Support Plan (ISP) for each student with disabilities. We invite special education students and their parents, department chairs, mentors, teaching assistants, case managers from the College of Education, and experts to collaboratively formulate a personalized support plan based on the student's needs, providing appropriate assistance to support their learning and development.
