Case Management and Psychological Counseling for Students with Special Needs
The case management of students with special needs by DSS counselors is assigned based on academic departments. Each department has a designated counselor responsible for assisting special education students within that department. During the case management process, if a student encounters adjustment difficulties or psychological distress, the counselor can provide psychological counseling or refer the student to the university’s Student Counseling Center or medical institutions as needed, ensuring that the student receives appropriate mental and physical care.

If a student experiences academic or campus adaptation issues, the counselor may also invite faculty members, parents, and other relevant parties to participate in an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meeting. Together, they will develop a personalized support plan to ensure the student receives suitable assistance and special education resources.
