Call for Participants: Focus Group with Women with Disabilities — National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
The NHRC will hold a focus group on September 1, 2025 for women with disabilities aged 18–30 who are currently enrolled in universities or graduate schools. Eligible participants are warmly invited to register.

1. Purpose
   Recruit women with disabilities aged 18–30 who are currently studying at the university or graduate level to participate in a focus group discussion. The aim is to understand issues encountered during their studies and the support they may need when entering the job market, and to explore intersectional concerns at the nexus of disability and gender. Findings will inform the NHRC’s independent assessment opinion on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

2. Who Can Apply (Eligibility)
   Women with disabilities who:

• are 18–30 years old,

• are currently enrolled in a university or graduate program, and

• have work experience (including student part-time/assistant roles, etc.).

   Monday, September 1, 2025, 14:00–17:00

4. Venue
   Control Yuan (監察院)
   No. 2, Sec. 1, Zhongxiao East Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City

5. Privacy & Confidentiality
   The focus group will be audio-recorded to facilitate analysis. Access to recordings and materials will be restricted to authorized NHRC personnel. Without participants’ authorization, information will not be disclosed to others. Data will be de-identified/anonymized so that no personally identifiable information appears.

6. Voluntary Participation
   There are no “right” or “wrong” answers. Your lived experiences and views are highly valued. You are not required to answer every question. If you feel hesitant or uncomfortable at any point, please say so—the NHRC will fully respect your wishes.

8. Other Information

• Registration deadline: August 13, 2025 (ROC Year 114).

• Honorarium: NT$2,000 for participating in the focus group.
